Christmas is a magical time in Vermont! In New England, Christmas is as it should be, snowy streets, Christmas tree farms, hot cocoa and cider by the fire. Sadly, we are not actually in Vermont this Christmas (we’ll be arriving Christmas day and my girlfriend is so kind enough to go and stock up our kitchen because Bennington is the kind of place where literally nothing is open, I mean, I bet the Chinese restaurant is even closed). But that’s the happy thing about Bennington, when you are in need, people will help! My husband just sent me an article in the Miami Herald (¡Dale!) about that people in Miami are the meanest people in the country, which I can surely attest to. But the people in Bennington have the true Christmas spirit and that warms my heart. Let’s hope it lasts through the long, dark winter ahead!
