Two towns that we really overlooked when we got here are Chester and Andover.

Both located on Route 11, you can get there from Bennington by going up through Peru and Londonderry and heading east on Route 11. Andover is more rustic with gorgeous mountain views (some spots you can see 40 miles or more) and Chester is an actual real small town with a town green and shopping and dining.

These aren’t necessarily destinations, but they’re two nice spots if you’re in the east/west corridor of Southern Vermont that are absolutely worth the detour!
