One real silver lining to this pandemic (and believe me, there aren’t many lol!) is that I have spent more time in and around my town. I feel like sometimes you ignore what’s right in front of you, but with less travel (even within the state of Vermont, I’ve been to New Hampshire once and Massachusetts once this whole year!) but when you’re staying close to home, it gives you the chance to really take a closer look at the beauty that your own hometown has to offer.
I took all of these photos on foot right on my regular running route believe it or not, Bennington is a charming and historic little town that is worth a closer look whether you live here or not! Why not skip the super-touristy Manchester and stay in Bennington next time you come up to Stratton to ski, and see all of our charm for yourself?!
