Sure the snow and bitter cold temps can be a challenge in winter, but I think the number one complaint of Vermonters would be the lack of sunshine. You can definitely turn up the heat, and snow can be gorgeous, especially when it has first fallen, but if there’s no sun, there’s no sun and you can’t make it shine!
Fortunately God has smiled down on us in the midst of this pandemic winter, and we have had so much sun! One of my good friends here kept a sun journal one winter, and I wish I had done that this year since we had so much, but I’m just super grateful for all of this blue brightness we Vermonters have gotten to enjoy this winter of 2021!
